Good in sunlight and removable in the future.<\/p><p>Use wide masking on either side of the track for easier clean-up.<\/p><p>Several small rags are better than one large one and better than paper towels Nylon gloves resist acetone best if you use it for clean-up<\/p><p>Run a drill into the fastener holes to clear away old sealant<\/p><p>Add a countersink to the holes if they don\u2019t have them already. This adds a \u201cwell\u201d to increase surface area for the sealant<\/p><p>Check the washers on the underside for cupping. If they have it, replace them with new stronger ones. Hopefully a backing strip is in place instead of just washers<\/p><p>That should do it.
